My daughter got this camera mostly because it is pink but the features were better than some camera we had previewed. It was easy to learn to use and she has enjoyed taking photos and videos with it since it arrived. However, she does not like the sometimes yellow tinted photos taken inside. We haven’t developed those so it may just be a screen issue.

When taking pics the display was very blurry, hence making it difficult to focus on the object/ person etc. The sellers should have indicated that the internal camera memory only allowed for three (3) shots and purchasing memory could be costly. Will not recommend, didn’t like at all. I purchase a Kodak C340 some years ago while I was in College and the picture quality was much better.

I am not a photographer; I bought the camera as a gift for my girlfriend. I did, however, look at a lot of (>100) cameras; my criteria were: (1) < $100 and lower is better, (2) image stabilization, (3) minimum 5x optical zoom, (4) Well rated both by consumers and professional reviewers, (5) Low (and explainable) number of poor reviews.

The only camera that made the final cut was the Olympus FE-46.

My girlfriend has had the camera just less than a week, but she was and is thrilled with it. She is still learning the many options she has, and is slowly mastering them, but has had absolutely no complaints.

Ironically, buying the camera in the “Crayola” package, which included a decent case, was substantially less expensive than simply buying the camera. BTW, for those who may be concerned about buying the “child’s package”, the camera is packaged in a retail box in the larger box.

The camera also has a tripod mount (although we’ve not used it), which increases its utility. It also seems to be solidly made, and has an automatic lens cover when powered down reducing the chances of significant damage.

There are only two potential downsides I see so far; first, it uses disposable AA batteries (NiMH rechargeable batteries may be an option), and the proprietary xD media cards is being phased out (the MASD-1 adapter can be used, but may be difficult to replace if lost).

Pick up a few pink digital camera accessories and you will have all of the style and personality of a new camera, without having to actually go out and buy one.

Two of the most popular pink digital camera accessories are cases and covers. These are excellent purchases for multiple reasons. In addition to being fun and adding personality, they also serve practical purposes for the protection and longevity (and reliable performance) of the camera.

Firstly, pink camera cases. These are a great way to protect your camera from damage. Just having it in a case at all protects from scratches and dirt (or, at the beach, sand), while a case with padding is even better. It can protect the camera’s internal parts from jarring or being knocked out of place by absorbing some of the force of impact if you drop your camera. You will probably have to find the best balance between how much the camera does and how much it costs to find the best pink digital camera for yourself or your loved one.

The lowest end of the price range for pink digital cameras is around $20. If this sounds like a great deal, you are right, but keep in mind that the vast majority of $20 cameras are made for young kids. They are likely to be emblazoned with flowers or pictures of Hannah Montana, and will have little (or, most like likely,  no) optical zoom (maybe some digital zoom if you are lucky).

Of course, if you are buying a pink digital camera for a child or young girl, this is perfect. Not only do they get what they are looking for, but it’s affordable enough not to matter too much if they break or lose the camera, which depending on the age, is not unlikely.

On the high end of the price range, you can pay as much as $500 for a pink digital camera. This is, of course, a lot more than a colorful accessory. It’s a sophisticated photography tool. At this price level, you’re looking at 10-12 megapixel quality, 10 times optical zoom (and 3 or 4 times digital zoom beyond that), and some incredibly high end focusing and filtering functions.

Most people shopping for a pink digital camera want something nicer than the $20 camera and more affordable than the $500 camera. Some of the most popular and well-received pink digital cameras are in the $150-$250 range. They come from companies like Canon, Sony, Olympus, Kodak, Nikon, Samsung, and Fujifilm.

In this regard, choosing a pink digital camera is more about choosing what goes on the inside: the image quality and camera performance you want. It should be no trouble to choose a camera quality and then find it in pink, so you get both form and function out of your pink digital camera.

Today, the color, style, and function options are nearly endless, and come from some of the best names in the industry. So if you’re looking for a pink digital camera to buy for yourself or a loved one, choosing the right camera is actually a tough decision. But having a lot of options is better than having too few, so this is a good problem to have.

But each camera is different. Gauging performance, style, and price, it should not be hard to find a high quality pink digital camera that gives you exactly what you’re looking for, both inside and out.

A pink digital camera meets these criteria, and more. This is a great present not for everyone, but for some people, it will be exactly what they wanted (but didn’t actually know it). Here are five reasons that a pink digital camera would make an excellent gift.
