Canon PowerShot SD1200IS 10 MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 2.5-inch LCD (Pink/Red) |

Good startup camera for point and shoot. There is a real difference in the quality of the construction between this and other Canon products I’ve owned. Slow focus. Good picture quality. Features are very helpful giving options to “auto mode” I think I would go up a model or two next time. |

Sony Cybershot DSCW120/P 7.2MP Digital Camera with 4x Optical Zoom with Super Steady Shot (Pink) |
|
I purchased the Sony Cybershot DSC-W120 camera 1 year, 3 months and 4 days ago. Today when I tried to use it, it wouldn’t turn on. I took the battery in to see if it was bad and learned that it is a fully charged battery, no problems there. When I turn on the camera, “sometimes” the view screen lights up for a few seconds but nothing else. I checked to see what it would cost to repair my $100 purchase and the cost is $120. Beware of this model as I guess you get what you pay for. |

09 NovSpice Things Up With Some Pink Digital Camera Accessories
If you are happy with the photos your camera takes, but a bit jealous of the stylish and attractive (pink!) appearance of newer cameras, you don’t have to buy a new one to get in on the fun. Pick up a few pink digital camera accessories and you will have all of the style and personality of a new camera, without having to actually go out and buy one.
Two of the most popular pink digital camera accessories are cases and covers. These are excellent purchases for multiple reasons. In addition to being fun and adding personality, they also serve practical purposes for the protection and longevity (and reliable performance) of the camera.
Firstly, pink camera cases. These are a great way to protect your camera from damage. Just having it in a case at all protects from scratches and dirt (or, at the beach, sand), while a case with padding is even better. It can protect the camera’s internal parts from jarring or being knocked out of place by absorbing some of the force of impact if you drop your camera. Your pink camera case will also match well with your pink laptop and pink laptop bag.
Camera covers are another great accessory. Instead of a carrying case (which you take the camera out of when you use it), a pink digital camera cover fits snugly around the camera. These are made from various materials, some of which protect from scratches, others of which also add padding. And because they fit snugly around the camera, a pink cover, in effect, changes your silver camera into a pink one!
Another way to add personality through pink digital camera accessories is by purchasing a new cord / rope. Most cameras come with a small cord that helps you hold on to the camera, both while you’re taking a photo and while you’re just walking with the camera in your hand. Consider buying a pink camera cord, or even adding a dangling charm (or both) to this part of your camera. The cord is, like the case and cover, practical yet stylish. And each of these ideas adds extra personality and a style all your own, making the camera even more fun to carry with you.
09 NovHow To Choose The Best Pink Digital Camera (For You)
If you are trying to pick out a pink digital camera, whether for yourself or as a gift for a friend or loved one, it can be hard to determine where to start. Ten years ago (even five years ago), there were few if any pink cameras on the market. But as the electronics manufacturers have caught up with peoples’ interests and preferences, a wide range of color choices quickly became available. Pink is, arguably, one of the most notable of these choices. Not only can you get digital cameras in pink but now you can get everything from office supplies in pink to tables in pink.
So when you are setting out to buy a pink digital camera, it can be instructive to ask yourself a few questions ahead of time. This helps you really narrow down what you are looking for, making it easier to choose between the dozens (if not hundreds) of varying models available.
- How will the camera be used? Are you buying it for a child to use for fun? A teenager to take to college? An adult for photos of family gatherings?
- How advanced (or interested) in photography is the person who will use the camera? If for someone who just wants to “point and click,” as the phrase goes, you needn’t spend money on an advanced pink digital camera with dozens of complex features and settings. If for someone who really takes pride in getting just the right light and angle, you do want to give them those options, and a point and click would probably be disappointing.
- What is your budget? Have in mind an ideal budget you would like to spend before you set out. Pink digital cameras cost anything from $20 for a simple kids’ camera to $500 for the most advanced and high-performance models.
Once you have answers to these questions in mind, it’s much easier to set out and actually find the right camera for your purposes. Ideally, you’d be able to get excellent features at a low price, but this isn’t always the case. You will probably have to find the best balance between how much the camera does and how much it costs to find the best pink digital camera for yourself or your loved one.
22 OctHow Much To Spend On A Pink Digital Camera
If you are searching for the perfect gift and you think a pink digital camera might be exactly what you are looking for, you probably want to know how much you should expect to spend on this practical (yet fashionable) item. Well, as you might expect, there is quite a price range out there, and what you pay depends on what you are looking for the camera to be able to do.
The lowest end of the price range for pink digital cameras is around $20. If this sounds like a great deal, you are right, but keep in mind that the vast majority of $20 cameras are made for young kids. They are likely to be emblazoned with flowers or pictures of Hannah Montana, and will have little (or, most like likely, no) optical zoom (maybe some digital zoom if you are lucky).
Of course, if you are buying a pink digital camera for a child or young girl, this is perfect. Not only do they get what they are looking for, but it’s affordable enough not to matter too much if they break or lose the camera, which depending on the age, is not unlikely.
On the high end of the price range, you can pay as much as $500 for a pink digital camera. This is, of course, a lot more than a colorful accessory. It’s a sophisticated photography tool. At this price level, you’re looking at 10-12 megapixel quality, 10 times optical zoom (and 3 or 4 times digital zoom beyond that), and some incredibly high end focusing and filtering functions.
Most people shopping for a pink digital camera want something nicer than the $20 camera and more affordable than the $500 camera. Some of the most popular and well-received pink digital cameras are in the $150-$250 range. They come from companies like Canon, Sony, Olympus, Kodak, Nikon, Samsung, and Fujifilm.
In this regard, choosing a pink digital camera is more about choosing what goes on the inside: the image quality and camera performance you want. It should be no trouble to choose a camera quality and then find it in pink, so you get both form and function out of your pink digital camera.
15 SepWhich Brands Make The Best Pink Digital Cameras?
Ten years ago, digital cameras were just catching on. Five years ago, they were almost all silver or black. You could perhaps find some unique color options in some unknown, unreliable brands, but the reputable electronics manufacturers hadn’t forayed far into the world of boldly colored electronics.
Today, the color, style, and function options are nearly endless, and come from some of the best names in the industry. So if you’re looking for a pink digital camera to buy for yourself or a loved one, choosing the right camera is actually a tough decision. But having a lot of options is better than having too few, so this is a good problem to have.
As with other cameras, the leading manufacturers of pink digital cameras include brands such as:
- Canon
- Sony
- Kodak
- Fujifilm
- Samsung
- Nikon
- Casio
- Olympus
- Panasonic
That’s quite a bit of selection. Each of these brands makes at least one (often more) model of well-received, well-reviewed pink digital camera for less than $200.
If you are looking for even higher quality, the phrase ‘you get what you pay for’ does, of course, apply here as well. In the top tier of pink digital cameras, you will find models such as the Sony Cyber-shot, Panasonic LUMIX, Casio EXILIM, and Canon PowerShot. The highest models of these particular pink cameras run upwards of $400 (and as high as $640).
When it comes to selecting the price level or features level that’s right for you, buying a pink camera is no different from buying any other camera. The more you pay, the higher photo quality, zoom capacity, and features you will get. (The highest end has around 10 megapixel quality and 10 times optical zoom, for example, while cameras in the $150 range may have just 6 megapixels or 3 times optical zoom.)
But each camera is different. Gauging performance, style, and price, it should not be hard to find a high quality pink digital camera that gives you exactly what you’re looking for, both inside and out.
23 AugFive Reasons A Pink Digital Camera Makes A Great Gift
If you are looking for a great gift to give a loved one for an upcoming birthday or holiday, it pays to do some thinking and planning ahead of time. The perfect gift is something the person will appreciate and enjoy, that they will get real use out of, and that they love but hadn’t thought of getting for themselves.
A pink digital camera meets these criteria, and more. This is a great present not for everyone, but for some people, it will be exactly what they wanted (but didn’t actually know it). Here are five reasons that a pink digital camera would make an excellent gift.
- Fashionable. There are plenty of cameras and other electronics out there that come in only drab colors. In fact, pink digital cameras have only been available for a few years. Pink is a great color because it appeals to many people’s sense of fashion. From women who appreciate a sophisticated, feminine light pink to teenagers who want something brighter and bolder, pink has a wide fan base. A pink digital camera takes a practical item and makes it personal.
- Functional. While fashionable, a pink digital camera is more than just a stylish accessory for a purse, backpack or handbag. It is functional. Everyone can use a camera. Whether taking pictures of friends and family, gorgeous landscapes, or documenting particularly aesthetic culinary creations, everyone loves a camera. And since digital cameras don’t waste film, you can take as many pictures as you like, making these great for kids as well.
- Versatile. Pink digital cameras appeal to as many people as like pink and use cameras. That’s a lot of people. As mentioned above, adults to children and anyone in between will use and appreciate this gift.
- Unexpected. Even if the person asks for a camera, receiving one with this much personality will be a great surprise. A pink digital camera steps above the ordinary to deliver meaning and excitement.
- Personalized. There’s nothing better than really identifying personally with your possessions. We buy cars and clothes based on our personal taste, so why make cameras different?
